Ph.D. ADMISSION (2025-26)

Online Applications are invited from eligible candidates for appearing in Sanchi University of Buddhist-Indic Studies entrance examination for admission to the Ph.D. Programmes for the Academic Session 2025-26.

The admission to Ph.D. Program for Academic Session 2025-26 will be conducted as   following:

1.Eligibility:

a. As per UGC Notification No. F.4-1(UGC-NET Review Committee)/2024(NET)/140648 dated 27.03.2024 there will be three Categories for admission to Ph.D.:

Block A	Category – 1: Award of JRF and Appointment as Assistant Professor	Yes	Yes	Yes
Block B	Category-2: Appointment as Assistant Professor and Admission to Ph.D.	No	Yes	Yes
	Category-3: Admission to Ph.D. only	No	No	Yes

b. For candidates in Block B, the validity of UGC/CSIR NET scores will be valid for one year. Therefore, “Candidates who have qualified UGC/CSIR NET in December 2024 and June 2025” will be eligible.

2. Merit list:

a. For the purpose of drawing the Merit List, 70% weightage must be given to the scores obtained in the Nationalized Test and 30% weightage must be given to Interviews.

b. The above will be applicable for all candidates i.e. candidates from Block A (Category-1) and Block B (Category-2) and (Category-3).
